South Australian Space School: Camp
Information for applicants
Since 1998, the Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith Fund has sponsored the South Australian Space School.
The Space School’s aim is to provide a stimulating and rewarding educational experience for Year 10 students in South Australia with a focus for them to pursue a career in science, engineering, aviation and astronomy. With the recent establishment of the Australian Space Agency in Adelaide, opportunities in the space sector are within easy reach.
Graduates of the Space School have also been given opportunities to undertake work experience with the RAAF, Flinders University, the University of Adelaide and DST Group. Some of our graduates have won scholarships to attend international space camps in the USA and Europe in following years.
