The Centre for Australian Space Education (CASE) invites applications for the four day residential South Australian Space School in December 2025.
Applications close on Friday, 26 September 2025 at 5:00 PM.
Eligibility
The December 2025 South Australian Space School is open to applicants who are year 10 students, enrolled at a school in South Australia, during 2025.
Before you apply
The following supporting documents will need to be prepared.
- Personal statement
- School referee statement
- Consent form
Personal statement
Write a statement, maximum 300 words, outlining:
- your interest in science
- your future career aspirations
- your success in science competitions and awards, academic success
- the reasons for your interest in attending the South Australian Space School
This needs to be written yourself and attached to the application form here as a PDF file.
School statement
Ask your Science teacher (or someone from your school) to write a statement, maximum 300 words, in support of your application, verifying:
- your interest in science
- your relevant school results
- your successful participation in science competitions, awards and clubs
- your personal qualities and any other evidence to support your application
You need to provide the name and email address of your school referee in your application.
We will contact your referee, and provide them with instructions on how to submit the school statement separately. Don’t forget to speak to your teacher early, so they have sufficeint time to write their statement before applications close.
Consent form
Please print this form and ask your parents or guardians to complete and sign it. It then needs to be clearly scanned or photographed and attached to the application form here as a PDF or JPEG file.
